Hi, come on in,  I'm so glad you stopped by!  I'm thrilled to tell you about my TWO new releases,

LOVE AND PASSION - Love Changes series BOOK 1

LOVE AND TRUST - Love Changes series BOOK 2   COMING SOON!

Everybody's had that relationship in your life that didn't go quite right.  It was a love you thought would last forever, but somehow it didn't live up to the hype.  It's true that love and life is not fair, but we have one thing in common, we've all been there.

Passion's relationship with Gavin is no exception and there's enough blame to go around. Self discovery can be very hard, but one day you wake up and take control of your own destiny and how you allow people to treat you.  Sooner or later you learn that everything in life has consequences, good or bad.  The only problem is that Passion and Gavin have to find out the hard way!

One thing Passion knew for sure, Gavin’s decision to spend New Year’s Eve with the boys had nothing to do with the boys. This wasn’t the first time Gavin had derailed a perfectly good evening to enjoy himself elsewhere. However, for some reason on this chilly December evening, something had festered so deep within her soul that she could no longer stomach the sight of more tears,  slowly crawling down her cheek.

Enough is enough, Passion wasn’t a teacher, but Gavin was gonna learn today! He wasn’t about to ruin her New Year’s Eve with his hurtful antics, that she continued to endure after four years with Gavin. If he wanted to play it like that, so be it. Tonight was the night she decided to be a free agent...let the games begin!

LOVE and PASSION excerpt:

Passion stood naked, just out of the shower. Water glistened like diamonds on her soft brown skin. She took a close look at herself from head to toe. What was wrong with her? Was she not pretty enough, did she need to lose weight, was she not good in bed.  What is it, why does he keep hurting me?

Regardless, Passion already knew what she had to do, it was tearing at her heart. She pulled up YouTube on the 45 inch TV in her bedroom and chose some party music video of Bruno Mars' 24K Magic mash-up with Snoop, Ariana, Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliot, Montel Jordan, and everybody else and their uncle. Passion swayed back and forth to the beat as salty liquid flowed from her eyes.

Get it together, one clown don't cancel the circus.  Passion turned away from the mirror. She couldn’t bear the pitiful face looking back at her. It screamed victim…she understood a victim to mean someone who didn’t see it coming and was helpless to stop it. That description didn’t fit her, not at all, she was a willing participant in Gavin’s bullshit. She had accepted it time and time again.

Her stomach churned with resentment. When had she become that girl…the one that allowed Gavin to treat her with such disrespect as to have the nerve to announce that he was spending New Year’s Eve with the boys as if she didn’t know the truth. That he would be so bold, struck a nerve that he had never reached before.

There were certain respectable things that a cheating man knew to do, to keep a faithful woman willing to turn a blind eye. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and coming home at a decent hour were unspoken rules that cheaters themselves wrote.

Gavin had broken rules as well as her heart more times than she was willing to admit, but apparently, even she had a breaking point and this was it. No longer was Gavin Petrie’s good looks, his swag, and sweet talk, nor his skills in the bedroom enough anymore. She deserved better.

This resolution had been a long time coming, but it was time, in fact, it was long overdue. Passion just wasn’t sure how she would carry it out. Be blunt and straight forward, or write a Dear John letter and stick it in the mailbox. Maybe just ignore his ass until he got the message. Not easy when he stayed at her house more than his own.

Passion splashed cold water on her face then dried with soft pats with her towel. How to end a four-year relationship was thought for another day. Right now she had a party to go to and a new year to greet, come whatever may.
